By integrating this company, Ginger strengthens its presence in Italy, where it was already established in the environmental sector. GEOTEC SpA is an Italian company with highly technical expertise in geophysical and geotechnical investigations and deep drilling (beyond 1,000 meters) for civil engineering, infrastructure, mining and energy sectors. Active for over 35 years, its headquarters are located in Campobasso, in the Molise region. It has multidisciplinary teams—geologists, geotechnical engineers, seismic specialists, drillers, surveyors—and owns a large fleet of machines and equipment, enabling it to cover the entire value chain, from field data collection to analysis and modelling.

Important milestone for the Brenner Base Tunnel

The Geotec Team was also present on Thursday, May 19th, 2022 when the Brenner Base Tunnel project company reached a new important milestone in the construction of the Brenner Base Tunnel. At 1:45 PM, the breakthrough for the east tunnel took place; the breakthrough in the west tunnel had taken place a few days before. The “H61 Mules 2-3” and “H71 Isarco River Underpass” construction lots, which began separately, are now connected.
